Healthcare Initiatives

Ongoing charitable efforts are underway for establishing improved health systems in the Kaolack region of Senegal.

In 2018, after a successful initiating campaign to raise funds to develop stronger healthcare opportunities in an underserved environment, the charitable organization Alfityanu Humanitaire International, conducted a “groundbreaking ceremony to lay the first stone” of new Health Center – Centre de Sante Ibrahima Niasse in Taiba Niassene, a locality in Kaolack, Senegal. 

“More than 5,000 people attended the ceremony to witness this memorable day as Founder of this initiative, Shaykh Muhammadou Mahy Cisse spoke on the purpose and intention of the Health Center”.

“The Health Center in Taiba Niassene includes a maternity ward and pediatric ward. It will be built on a single floor and planned in a modular and scalable complex, thus expandable according to the needs of the community”. (http://healthcenter.alfityanu.org)
